Sasuke could already premeditate Naruto’s response to seeing him; shocked, excited, angry - every emotion held in an arsenal. The threshold of his revelation deemed his feet to continue on, despite the gnawing glare he offered Naruto as his back was turned. ‘Sasuke?’, he heard from a short distance. His response was an aggravated halt in his walking. His back remain turned, leaving Naruto to stare at his raven hair, and the Uchiha symbol he wore with pride.
The candid way in which his body language showed disinterest, made it blatantly obvious that he was in no mood to deal with this. He was in no mood to hear Naruto’s alleged rants, and ill-persuasive words. Sasuke knew they were coming his way. Nothing ever changed with the air-head.
“What… Do you want?” His voice was snappy and irate, his head turning as onyx tresses covered a good portion of his face, leaving nothing but a scowl on his face.
A large grin crossed Naruto’s face. He’d found Sasuke without even looking for him! It seems he was lucky today. The blonde could hear the annoyance in the other’s voice and ignored it. Though he should be on his way back to Konoha, Naruto wasn’t going to leave without talking to Sasuke, hopefully even convincing him back if possible.
“I didn’t expect to see you around here,” Naruto replied slowly as he took a few steps forward. “Can we…can we just talk?” Naruto questioned, biting his lips as he stared at the other male’s back. Why are you here? How’re you doing? Are you ready to come home? Those were the questions on Naruto’s mind, but he stayed silent, not shooting his questions out instantly, merely waiting to hear Sasuke talk before he asked him anything.
Of course, Sasuke was right. ‘Talking’ usually meant that he was going to try and convince him to return, again. The repetition of his words usually caused his ears to ring - that voice, and that face had usually set him off into a raged fit. Eyes leered to his left, averting from Naruto’s sky blue optics. “Talk, mm?” The raven scoffed, turning his body to now face his adversary, digits moving to cover his face, frustration evident in his body language.
“You’re full of bullshit. Don’t idle me and waste my time.” Unless the reason was different - unless Naruto wanted to talk about something other than his return, Sasuke wouldn’t hear it. He wouldn’t have it. To suffer through those ridiculous lectures, there was no way to spare his ears other than to drown out his voice, or walk away.
“I have nothing to say to you.”
